Rachel Bilson showed off her swimsuit body while basking in the sun on her Hawaiian holiday this week.

The 39-year-old was a sizzling sensation in a backless one-piece that also plunged at the front to flaunt her cleavage.

She could be seen splashing about in the shallows as she headed back onto dry land after taking a dip in the waves.

Rachel swept her luxurious curls up into a high ponytail and accessorized the print bathing suit with a pair of dark sunglasses.

At one point the ex of Hayden Christensen could be seen sauntering toward the ocean with a snorkel and a pair of swim fins.

Earlier this month Rachel revealed that she was approached to star in the revival of The Hills which was subtitled New Beginnings.

She said on her podcast Welcome to The O.C., B****es that she was asked to be on the show before they went to her old The O.C. co-star Mischa Barton.

'I was actually asked to be on The Hills, that I graciously passed. And then, who they wound up casting was Mischa,' she spilled.

Rachel's recent work includes a pilot she starred on a couple of years ago called Lovestruck which co-starred such major names as Kathleen Turner.

She and Hayden were a couple from 2007 until a decade later and they share a six-year-old daughter named Briar Rose.

Back in April she appeared on the Betches Moms podcast and discussed the logistics of sharing her daughter with Hayden amid the coronavirus lockdowns.

'I was actually asked to be on The Hills, that I graciously passed. And then, who they wound up casting was Mischa,' she spilled

Rachel clarified that 'luckily' Hayden was 'pretty hardcore' about abiding by the restrictions so 'I don't have to worry at all' about Briar Rose going back and forth.

She shared that 'you have to trust each other and you are bubbled up - but it's also nice because she's had the opportunity to have another house to go to and not just be stuck in our house the entire time so I'm grateful for that.' 

The Hart Of Dixie actress said her tip to other women in her circumstances was to 'definitely be grateful for - you actually get a little time for yourself which is something not to be taken lightly because a lot of people don't get those breaks.' 

Rachel went on: 'So I think, even though it's hard and I'm always so sad when I'm not with her I've learned to be like: "Okay, take this moment," like you said, recharge.'
