'Married by Mom and Dad' Couple Endure Awkward Wedding Speech: Watch
Three’s a crowd? Married by Mom and Dad‘s Emily and Mitch tie the knot during the TLC series’ Sunday, January 24, episode, but the big day gets a bit uncomfortable at times, as seen in Us Weekly‘s exclusive sneak peek.
The newlyweds barely know each other, which means that the new bride is meeting many of Mitch’s loved ones for the first time.
“It’s overwhelming, but I feel like I’m getting along with everyone, and everyone seems really down-to-earth,” she says.
Stephen, Mitch’s best friend and roommate, then delivers a speech to the happy couple, as he reminds the bride about her new living situation.
“I’m excited that both of you are starting a new chapter in life, and I’m also excited that you are going to be part of my life as a new roommate,” Stephen says in front of the reception crowd. “I live with Mitch, so welcome to that situation.”

Married by Mom and Dad airs on TLC Sundays at 10 p.m. EST.
